We need to protest against things like this. The best way is not to buy products from companies like this. It seems we have forgotten how to be Americans and help our own. I know from our business that many people want to buy American made products but don’t know where to buy these products. As I mentioned there are very large companies supporting China by private labeling their boxes to make it look like it was made here. Talk about deception and we as Americans have fallen for this because of price. Let’s look at what we are doing. We are supporting other countries and putting people to work there but losing jobs here. We are doing this to ourselves and large companies need to look at the bottom line but on the same token we don’t have to be greedy. All of us want to make a good lliving but I can’t see why we have to trick Americans by deception. Don’t buy into it and ask where the product is made not assembled or boxed. There are some big name brand wood flooring companies that buy the majority of their wood flooring from China. They are putting a lot of people to work in other countries and we are allowing this to happen to us. So before you think about price alone think about what this is doing to our jobs back her at home.
Many of our flooring contractors offer zero % financing for 6 months and that is a help. More importantly they are competitive and can offer many products to you made right here in America. They will mak a profit but not a killing like some manufactures are. Example some solid wood floring prefinished from China can be purchased for $2.00 square foot and these large manufacture can charge $3-$4 per square foot. The products made in America are about the same sell price wirth better quality but their margin of profit is less. So, you can continue to support people who buy flooring from China or you can help our country. Your choice, but remember we will all pay in the end because if we keep losing jobs here at home how you going to continue to support you and your family?
